The Hackensack Republican (including the Bergen County Watchman and the New Jersey Republican) (1873-1879) can be searched directly through the links at left. You have to logged in to see results. We will continue to load data for the Republican as they become available.
The NJ Citizen (May 26, 1871 through Dec 29, 1871) can be searched through the link at left. The general search box will return preliminary results.
Some years of the Bergen Democrat has been indexed by Pat Wardell and is available in "The Archivist."
