     Lourens Andriessen Van Buskirk was born in 1636.1 He married Jennetje Jans, daughter of Tymen Jansen Jans and Marytje Webber, on 12 December 1658 at Dutch Reformed Church, New Amsterdam.2,3 He died before 19 March 1692/93 at Bergen, NJ.2 He died in 1694.1
     He lived at New Amsterdam.1 He was a turner, farmer.1      In 1686 Lourens purchased with others a large tract of land known as New Hackensack. He resided on this land as early as 1688.4 He was the first coroner of Bergen County as well as Justice, Magistrate and other offices.4 He lived at Bergen County, NJ.1 Name variation: Laurens Andriessen.2 Name variation: Laurens Andries Van Boskerck.2 He emigrated in 1654 from Schleswig-Holstein, Denmark.1 He lived in 1662 on the west shore of the Hudson River.1
