     Russell Warren Blodgett was born on 26 January 1948 at Concord, VT.¹ He died on 11 September 1995 at age 47.¹
     Russell attended Waterford Grade School for three years and graduated from Orleans, VT High School in 1966. He attended and graduated from the University of Vermont in 1970. with a degree in Agriculture Education. He taught for one year at North Country Union High School, went into the Army and came back to work for his father on the family farm. In December 1986 Russell and his wife bought the family farm from his parents which they are running with the help of his parents and brother, Dennis.¹
