     Thomas Wicks was born on 7 January 1839 at 28 Whiting St., Bury St. Edmunds, England. He married Rosa Anna Cassidy, daughter of John Cassidy and Mary Casey, on 2 December 1868 at Harlem, NY. Thomas Wicks died on 20 October 1889 at 'The Evergreens', Bushwick Ave., Brooklyn, NY, at age 50.
     He was a drummer boy in the British Army. He also served in the Civil War from May 1863-Aug 1865.

     Walter Wicks was born on 22 September 1833 at Shipdham, Independent.

     Cynthia Widrig was born on 4 June 1837. She married John E. Minckley, son of John Minckley and Amy Smith, in May 1857. Cynthia Widrig died on 10 November 1913 at age 76.

     Johanna Wiegel was born in 1870 at The Netherlands. She married Oskar Hiemstra in 1934 at Paterson, Passaic County, NJ. Johanna Wiegel died after 1944.
     A daughter Nellie (Rooze), and a son Cornelius van Dam of Montana, survive him. In view of the marriage date and the last name of Cornelius, these are probably stepchildren. A nephew Stephen Keijzer also survives him. He was living at his nephew's home, when he died. Martin van Dam is in the 1900 census with his first wife Annie, no children, at an unknown place. Married name: Hiemstra. She appeared on the census of 1910 at 79 Highland Street, Paterson City (3rd Ward), Passaic County, NJ. with her husband Martin van Damm (36, born in Holland) and adopted son Cornelius (6, born in NJ). She appeared on the census of 1920 at 58 East 22nd Street, Paterson City (Ward 10), Passaic County, NJ. with her husband Marten van Dam (46, born in Holland) and son Cornelius (16, born in NJ). A John Weigel lives next door.

     Anna Margrietha Wieland was born in 1883 at Terneuzen, Zeeuws Vlaanderen, Zeeland, The Netherlands. She married Andries Sybrand Hamelink on 15 May 1901 at Terneuzen, Zeeuws Vlaanderen, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
     In view of the names of the parents of Andries and Anna Margrietha, it seems probable that Anna Margrietha is the same as Johanna: Arie P. named after Andries' father, Rachel after Anna M's mother, Pieternella after Andries' mother, and later Marten after Anna's father. Pieternella is then prob. the surviving sister Nellie, Coba is Jacoba. Four children of this couple die in Terneuzen. Her parents were Martinus Wieland and Rachel Riemens. Name variation: Johanna Hamelinck. Married name: Hamelink. Anna Margrietha Wieland immigrated on 8 November 1910 to 86 East Main Street, Paterson, Passaic County, NJ, on the Noordam, from Rotterdam, arriving in New York on 8 Nov 1910 with three children: Arie (10), Rachel (8) and Pieternella (11 mo), all born in Terneuzen. She was going to her husband an unknown person in 86 East Main Street, Paterson, Passaic County, NJ. She and Andries Sybrand Hamelink appeared on the census of 1920 at 296 ? Street, Paterson City (3rd Ward), Passaic County, NJ. with seven children: Harry (20), Rachel (18), Nellie (10) all born in Holland, and Lena (9), Marten (7), William (4) and Coba (3), all born in NJ. They immigrated in 1910.

     Lieuwe Reinders Wielinga was born on 24 June 1787. He married Haitske Ruurds Wierstra, daughter of Ruurd Pieters Wierstra and Aafke Jetzes Grienstra, on 27 May 1817 at Ferwerderadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands. Lieuwe Reinders Wielinga died on 15 November 1855 at age 68.

     Reinder Alberts Wielinga was born on 16 February 1754. He married Dieuwke Lieuwes Bosch, daughter of Lieuwe Jans Bosch and Aaltie Gerrits, on 3 August 1783.

     Arthur Aloysius Wien was born on 29 October 1915 at Brooklyn, NY. He married Natalie Eleanor Beemer, daughter of Wilbur Chauncey Beemer and Lena Mae Slater. Arthur Aloysius Wien died on 23 November 1990 at Sussex County, NJ, at age 75.

     Haitske Ruurds Wierstra was born on 27 April 1798. She married Lieuwe Reinders Wielinga, son of Reinder Alberts Wielinga and Dieuwke Lieuwes Bosch, on 27 May 1817 at Ferwerderadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands. Haitske Ruurds Wierstra died on 29 June 1881 at Ferwerderadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands, at age 83.

     Ruurd Pieters Wierstra was born on 19 November 1756. He married Aafke Jetzes Grienstra, daughter of Jetze Jacobs and Haitske Ofkes, on 24 July 1785. Ruurd Pieters Wierstra died on 16 February 1820 at Ferwerderadeel, Friesland, The Netherlands, at age 63.
     He and Aafke Jetzes Grienstra had 3 children.

     Anna Wight was born on 5 March 1732 at Bristol, RI. She married Oliver Fairbanks, son of Jonathan Fairbanks and Deborah Guild, on 18 December 1776. Anna Wight died on 24 December 1805 at age 73.
