Info from Ye Olde Coffey Grounds, Stevenot, states that George and Mary are buried in the Coffey/Galloway Cemetery. Source: OCGS: 13: 15, 1983.

     Gilbert L Galloway was born on 12 February 1815.4 He married Susan Writer.
     He began military service on 22 September 1862 in Company I, 22nd Regiment of the Infantry (Bergen County Regiment) and served 9 months. The unit fought at Chancellorsville.3 He and Susan Writer appeared on the census of 1870 at Chatsworth, Sullivan, Livingston County, IL.3      The information on this Gilbert shows he was born in 1820 not 1815. There may be another Gilbert who was the son of one of Thomas' children. Further research by Maria Hopper shows this is the correct placement with birth dates varying from 1815-1820 depending on the source.5,3      Gilbert lived in Goshen, NY in 1840, in 1842 he was in Monroe, NY and in 1860 he was in Hillsdale, Bergen County, NJ. He was listed as a farmer in 1860 and as a laborer in the 1861 Paterson City Diectory.5,4,6
