More people are using DNA testing as part of their genealogical research. This course focuses on the basics: why you might want to take a DNA test, which DNA tests and testing companies are there, how to interpret your DNA results, and what to do next. This course is sponsored by the Genealogical Society of Bergen County.

Note: This course is a paid multi-week course (fee) conducted online through the Bergen Community College Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR). The course offers an in-depth and hands-on look at the topic and allows for interaction with the presenter as well as other students. For more information and fees, please see the Fall 2022 catalog, https://ilr.bergen.edu/courses/
