Catharina Van Rypen was born circa 1766.² She married Jacob Elias Vreeland, son of Elias Vreeland and Lea Aeltse Van Riper, on 18 August 1784 (She was a widow.)³ Catharina Van Rypen died on 12 June 1835.² She was buried in Acquackanonck Churchyard.²
