Family | Eveline (?) |
Children |
|
The children are buried in Old Hurley Cemetery. Their names are inscribed on a single monument, children of Cornelius Dumond and Eveline. The monument does not say that Cornelius and Eveline are buried there also.2
Find-a-grave has a burial for Cornelius Dumont married to Eveline Elmendorf, but in Wiltwyck Cemetery in Kingston. Cornelius is b. in 1856, Eveline's dates are 1860-1906.3
This Cornelius (b. Jul 1855) is in the 1900 census with wife Eveline (b. 1840 b. NY), and children Maud (21 b. NY),
Georganna (19 b. NY), and Raymond (4 b. NY) in Ulster Township, Election Districts 1, 4, Ulster County, NY. He is in the 1880 census with just his daughter Maud.4
Considering the big space between Georganna and Raymond it is certainly possible that the four children buried in Old Hurley Cemetery are theirs.
