Johannes Duryea was a merchant at New York City, NY.2
From Bergen's (NYG&B) Duryea genealogy:
#19. Johannes, son of Jacob and Catrina Polhemus, married Sarah Barkeloo, daughter of Hermannus on 29 Oct 1763
#47. John, son of Joost Jacobse (#17, brother of Johannes) and Willempje Terhune, but with John Duryea's birth date) married Sara Barkeloo, daughter of Harmen on 5 Nov 1763
Bergen Families (Duryea File) the first as a possible marriage (no date), and does not have the second. Bergen Families (Barcalo File) has Sara (b. 1741, daughter of Hermannus and Sara Terhune) married 5 Nov 1763 to Johannes Duryea (no parents).
There is a third John Duryea, son of Joost (Carelse) Duryea and Antje Terhune, b. 1739. See also the discussion on the Dutch Colony List about the confusion of the grandfathers Joost Duryea
It seems to me that the first marriage is not possible; Johannes (#19) cannot have been born in 1739, unless Catrina Polhemus was at most 15 at marriage.4,5

Joost Duryea emigrated circa 1675 (from Manheim in the Palatines.)1 He lived between 1675 and 5 October 1681 at New Utrecht, NY, at a farm.1 He was a member of the French Huguenot Church.1
He sold his farm in Bushwick, NY 'Oct. 5, 1681, for 3200 gl. and a new wagon to Gerrit Cornelisen (Van Duyn) as per page 148 of Liber AA of Flatbush town records. Left New Utrecht and settled on the disputed lands between Newtown and Bushwick, as per Riker's Newtown where he died about 1727.1' He lived between 1683 and 1698 at Bushwick, NY, His name appears there on the assessment rolls of 1683 and 93 and census of 1698.1
NOTE: There seems to be quite a bit of confusion on the descendants of this couple: LI-Surnames has a daughter b. in 1679 in Flatbush, and a son in 1681 in Manheim; T. Bergen in NYG&B gives Peter Duryea a son Christian with a birth year of 1682. Joost Joosten has a birthdate of app. 1660, 10 yrs before his parents marriage. Joost Joosten has the exact same marriage date as the birthdate of Peter Joosten, and so on.2,4 Name variation: Joost Durye.1 Name variation: Joost Durie.1

Joost Duryea made a will on 16 March 1774 at Jamaica, Queens County, NY. Abstracts of Wills Vol VIII 1771-1776, pages 260 & 261: Page 384.
NOTE: There seems to be quite a mix-up between these two Joosts. See the discussion at. Originally Joost (x Antje Terhune) was designated as son of Joost Joosten and Lena, and Joost (x Willempie Terhune) as son of Jacob Joosten and Catrina Polhemus. I have adjusted the relationships acc. to that discussion. I have copied the wills mentioned to the appropriate Joost.3
In the name of God, Amen. I, JOST DURYEE, of Jamaica, in Queens County, miller, being sick. "I leave to Charity, my well beloved wife, all she brought to me of her own estate, in money or other things; also a negro girl, 'Susan,' during so long a time as she remains my widow, and then to be sold and the money paid to my children." All my real estate, houses, lands, and mills, are to be sold by my executors, and all the rest of my movable estate. From the proceeds I leave to my first-born son, Ruloff Duryee, £5, for his birthright. To my granddaughter, Antie Van Wicklin, £50. All the remainder I leave to my wife Charity and my sons, Rulof, John, Jacob, and Aaron, and my daughter Anne. I make my brothers, Abraham Duryee and Jacob Duryee, and my
brother-in-law, Albert Turhuyn (Terhune), executors.
Dated March 16, 1774. Witnesses, William Howard, Benjamin Coe, Robert Hinchman, Innkeeper. Proved, April 15, 1775.

Joost Duryea was a farmer and wheelwright.1 He lived at Jamaica South.1 He made a will on 1 April 1781 at Oyster Bay, Queens County, NY. Abstracts of Wills Vol X 1780-1782, page 126-128: Page 277.
NOTE: There seems to be quite a mix-up between these two Joosts. See the discussion at. To all Christian People to whom these Presents Shall come or in any way concern: Know ye, that I, JOOST DEREAY, of the Township of Oysterbay in Queens County, yeoman, being this first day of April, 1781, in but a weakly state of health, but mind and understanding quick and good and well.
I order my executors to fully pay all my just debts and funeral charges. I leave to my well-beloved wife, Willimpey Dereay, two of my best beds and full furniture, my best horse and riding chais, my cubboard, two tables, looking glass and household furniture of all sorts and all kinds that is in my house (sufficient to furnish her for housekeeping), with sufficient meat and bread corn to last her one whole year after my decease; with two of my best swine, and the use and profits of all my lands which my son, George Dereay, leased to me and my wife.
Unto my wife £200; to be paid her by my executors within three months after my decease. All which is to her free disposal.
Unto my daughter Willimpey the next choice of my beds and full furniture; and £30; to be paid her within four
months after my decease.
Unto my grandson George, son of Jacob Dereay, £10; to my grandson Rulof, son of John Dereay, £10; all current money to be put on interest until they arrive at lawful age.
Unto Nealey Noostrand, £20. Unto my son George one shilling Right of Land in the Common in the Township of Hempstead, which I bought of James Pearsall of Huntington. Likewise unto my son George twenty-one acres of plain land, which I bought of Jonathan Pratt, situated in Oysterbay Plain, with all my "Wites" of land whatsoever that is not already given away. Unto my son Charles 5 shillings; which makes, with what I have before given him, his full share of my estate.
My executors are to sell all my estate not already disposed of, and divide the proceeds in the following manner. Unto my son George four eleventh parts; to my grandchildren (children of my son John, deceased), two eleventh parts, to be put on interest until they come to age, to my three grandsons (sons of Jacob, deceased), two eleventh parts, to be put on interest until they come of age; unto my daughter, Mary Bennet, one eleventh part; unto my daughter Willimpey one eleventh; unto my son-in-law, Garret Noostrand, the interest of one eleventh part, as long as he liveth, and, provided my daughter Cornelia should have lawful children, then the principal shall be divided between such children. In case my daughter should live to be a widow, I give the one eleventh part to her free disposal. I also give to Nelas a Lawfull Bond I have against her husband, Garret Noostrand, dated ye twenty-first of March, 1781. Condition of one hundred pound, fourteen shillings, three pence, to be paid them when they arrive to lawful age, and the interest yearly paid to their mother, Nealey Noostrand. In case that Nealey should not have
lawful issue and should decease before her husband, Garret Noostrand, then I direct that her eleventh part and the money due on Noostrand's bond be equally divided into six parts, George Dereay to have two parts; John Dereay's
children to have one part; Jacob Dereay's children to have one part; Willimpey Dereay to have one part; and Mary Bennett one part. I make my friends and neighbor, John Wortimon, Willits Kirby, Gabrial Dereay, and Abraham Monfoort, executors.
