     Martin Kortright was born on 21 May 1791 at Orange, NY. He married Nancy Brown on 20 April 1815. He married Sally Biglow on 6 July 1820 at Wolcott, Wayne County, NY. He died on 5 September 1860 at Cambria Twp, Hillsdale County, MI, at age 69.
     Martin wore a sheepskin coat much of the time and was called Sheepskin Cortright. He served in the War of 1812.²

     Moses served in the Revolutionary War.
