     Charles E Bangham was born on 21 July 1845 at New Brunswick, NJ.¹ He married Julia Ann Smith, daughter of Thomas Smith and Irena McMurtry, on 4 June 1874 at Paterson, Passaic County, NJ, (. Charles and Julia were married by Geo. F. Dickinson.)¹ He died on 5 September 1921 at age 76 from cerebral hemorrhage.¹ He was buried on 9 September 1921 in the Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood (Smith plot.)¹
