     Lawrence died unmarried. He was last of the name to hold the homestead. Lawrence had two wills, one bequeathed all of his property to Sarah Gilmore. The second will left his property to his kindred. Apparently after a long legal battle the Kortrights gave up the property for 'a consideration'.3
