     Regina Zobinger was born on 27 October 1789 at Schnellmanskreut, Bavaria, Germany.¹ She married Raimund Kneissl, son of Josef Kneissl and Johanna (Kunnerin) Kail, on 4 April 1815 (Handzell, Bavaria, G.)¹ She died circa 1834.¹
     She was the daughter of an innkeeper, a few months after the fall of the Bastille with the beginnings of the French Revolution. She married Raimund Kneissl in 1815, the year that Napolean was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo and was exiled to St. Helena, and the same year that Otto von Bismarck, future Chancellor of Prussia, was born.
