Ann E (age 42) W, is listed living with Aaron Tuerse, in the 1870 Census, Saddle River Twp, Paterson, with Garry, age 13 in the household. We suspect this family is not in our direct line, and is not the same Aaron Tuers as our gggrandfather who most commonly is listed as living in Washington Towship, Bergen, NJ. UNCONFIRMED.

He married Hester (Hiley) Kingsland, daughter of Isaac Kingsland and Hillitje Francisco, on 23 March 1811 at Second River Reformed Dutch Church, Belleville, NJ. Garrit Tuers died on 3 September 1848 at Belleville Twp, Essex County, NJ, at age 59.
     Notes in Randolph are taken from his will 25 Aug 1848, and sworn by witnesses 7 Oct 1848. Does not mention his wife, but mentions children, and his daugher-in-law, Leah, but does not note whether she is wife of James Van Winkle Tuers or Abraham Tuers.
