     Solomon Du Bois was born on 3 February 1668 at Hurley, NY.¹ He was baptized on 8 February 1668 at NY Dutch Church, NY.² He married Tryntje Gerritsen, daughter of Gerrit Corneliszen Newkirk and Jacomyntie Sloght, in 1692.¹ He died in February 1759.^1,2
     Solomon was not in the patent. He was a Lieutenant in the militia.² He and Tryntje Gerritsen lived at New Paltz, NY.²
