     Anne McDonald Hawley was born on 12 March 1876 at Redwing, Goodhue County, MN. She married Edward. She died on 11 December 1966 at age 90.
     Anne wrote to Mary Hawley Vreeland Christmas 1950 with the pedigree information about the Dr. Augustine Boyer Hawley family from Red Wing MN. Augustine was the son of Isaac Agur Hawley, from Geneva, NY and nephew of Dr. Joel Edwin Hawley from Ithaca, NY. She said that the Hawley Bible was in the hands of a Jane Kay Stuart.

     Augustine Boyer Hawley MD was born on 6 November 1833 at Caroline, Tompkins County, NY.¹ He married Harriet Bowman Blackstock, daughter of John McDonald Blackstock and Harriet Elizabeth McKennan, on 2 February 1865. He died on 20 September 1878 at age 44.
     He lived at Redwing, MN.

     Benjamin Hawley was born on 21 August 1728 at Newtown, Fairfield County, CT. He married Ann Baldwin on 14 January 1755 at Newtown, Fairfield County, CT. He died on 15 October 1790 at Brookfield, Fairfield County, CT, at age 62.

     Charles Edwin Hawley was born on 28 February 1840 at Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY. He was christened on 6 April 1845 at Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY. He married Alice Boult at Louisiana.
     He was a dentist.      Charles Edwin was the third child of Dr. Joel Edwin Hawley and Miranda Orcelia Phillips. He married an Alice Boult in Louisiana.
     The names of Charles Edwin Hawley's wife and children were entered in an old family ledger found among other Hawley history in the basement of Edwin W. Vreeland. This same ledger and box containing it also produced information concerning a G.M.B. Hawley vs William H. Harwood, et al asplaintiffs and defendants in a Texas Oil Complaint filed in the U.S.Circuit Court of Appeals 8 May 1903.

     Charlotte DeForest Hawley was born on 14 October 1849.¹ She died on 26 January 1856 at Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY, at age 6.¹ She was buried in the Ithaca Cemetery in Ithaca (Block C, Lot #149, Map page 67 next to her father in Ithaca Cemetery.)²
     Charlotte and Helen were twins. [Note: A correction must be made to the HR, #4056. Charles Douglas is listed as the twin of Helen Robinson. It should state 'Charlotte DeForest' instead of Charles Douglas]¹

     David Hawley was born on 31 March 1810. He married Mary Weldon. He married Catherine Weldon. He died on 1 June 1870 at age 60.
     David's wives were sisters.

     Dea Lewis Hawley married Martha Hobart Lincoln, daughter of Caleb Lincoln and Martha Hobart, in 1851.¹ He died on 27 October 1866 at Union City, MI.¹

     Donald Schaeffer Hawley was born on 21 December 1911. He married Eleanor Peck. He died on 30 October 1970 at age 58.
     Donald Shaeffer's obituary read as follows:
     Donald Shaeffer Hawley of 45 Morton Place, East Orange, an amatur tennisplayer during the 1930's and a commercial artist died Friday after beingstricken with a heart attack at home.
     Mr. Hawley was a lifelong resident of East Orange. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Eleanor (Peck) Hawley, and his mother, Mrs. George P. Hawley of East Orange.¹
          A graduate of New York University, he was on the tennis team for four years and played in the intercollegiate championships. He also attended the Art Students League in Newark for two years.
     Mr. Hawley played most of the top tennis players of the time, including Don Budge, Sidney Wood and Pancho Gonzales. His best year was in 1937 when he ranked second in the East and among the top 25 tennis players in the country.      He won over 200 tournaments in his career. He was New Jersey State champion twice and New Hampshire state champion four times. In later years, his interests turned to tennis umpiring. He officiated at many tournaments, including the Marlboro Open at Orange Lawn and the U.S. Open at Forest Hills this sumer. He was a member of the EasternTennis Umpires Association and the U.S. Tennis Umpires Association.
     By profession, Mr. Hawley was a commercial artist, doing freelance workfrom his own studio for many years. In 1964 he joined Gordon Pihl and Associates, an East Orange advertizing agency. Two years ago, he took over the firm as president and changed its name to Agency Printing Service, Inc.

     Dorothy Hawley was christened on 20 June 1658. She married John Booth, son of Richard Booth and Elizabeth Hawley, on 14 June 1678. She died on 29 May 1710 at age 51.
     Dorothy was from Roxbury, MA. Married name: Booth.

     Ebenezer Hawley was born in 1654. He married Hester (Esther) Ward, daughter of William Ward and Deborah, in 1678.
