NOTE: The Verdon File had John Verdon as the son of Wilhelmus Jacobse Ferdon, but that seems unlikely, as Wilhelmus would have been almost 80 yrs old in 1760. Unless there was a second marriage, which is not indicated. The Brouwer website has John as son of Jan Verdon and Brechtje Haring, which makes sense as he has a daughter Brechtje. However, Brouwer website has only two children for William and Elizabeth: Jacob (1719) and John (c. 1720.)1,4,5
