He lived in Glen Rock on Lincoln Avenue at Fairview Ave. He and his wife joined the 2nd Ref Church of Paterson in 1844. He died in 1853 according to church records. His will was dated 20 Sep 1848, proved 17 Sep 1853. In it he mentioned wife Sarah, sons Isaac, Harmon, Henry, George,Jacob, and John (dec) and daughters Mary and Hannah wife of Edwin Fitz Randolph. He willed land in Moonachie, County of Bergen, Village of Lodi on NE side of turnpike, about 45 acres to Isaac together with 3 acres of swamp; to son George two tracts in Bergen County together with old homestead; land in Passaic to Jacob, land in Saddle River to Henry and George. Daughter Hannah, wife of Edwin Randolph, a sum of $400.00 and to Hannah and Mary all the kitchen and household furniture together with clothing an linen remaining at the decease of said wife Sarah; daughter of deceased son John (Sarah Ann) at 21 shall receive $400.00.
