The following Andries is probably not the same as this one:
An Andries Hardenbroeck and Aeffje Jans post banns on 04 Apr 1663 in Amsterdam. Andries is 26 yrs old, from Elbersfeld, schoenmaker, his father is in New Netherland, his witness is his uncle Pieter Hardenbroeck; Aefje is 25, lives in Amsterdam, parents deceased, witness not readable, both sign their name.
This couple has six children baptized in Amsterdam in the Westerkerk
Baptisms in Amsterdam with father Andries Hardenbroeck
8 Aug 1664: Johannes. Andries Hardenbroeck and Aeltje Jans, witn. Pieter Hardenbroeck and Cornelia Cornelisz (prob. the uncle and his wife)
25 Sep 1665: Joannis. Andries Hardenbroeck and Aefje Jans, witn. Godert Villenborgh and Geertruijt van der Heijde
25 Dec 1667: Adolph. Andries Hardenbroeck and Aeltje Jans, witn. Adolph Hardenbroeck and Maria Hardenbroeck
31 Mar 1669: Adolphus. Andries Hardenbroeck and Eva Hardenbroeck, witn. Pieter Hardenbroeck and Ursula Garridts
13 Feb 1671: Pieter. Andries Hardenbroeck and Aefien Jans, witn. Pieter Hardenbroeck and Elsien Hardenbroeck
23 Sep 1672: Maria. Andries Hardenbroock and Aefien Hardenbroock, witn. Pieter Hardenbroock and Elsien Hardenbroock
However, both Andries and his wife are buried in Amsterdam (in resp. 1673 and 1714). It is however possible that only their son Johannes, bapt. 1665 went to America to join his grandfather and uncles. But then why is his mother listed as Maryke?
Pieter Hardenbroek probably posted banns 14 Jan 1640 (Pieter Hartenbrauch/Hartenbroeck and Elsje Jans; DTB 453, p.156). This couple has eight children baptized in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam between 1640 and 1655. He names his first son Pieter, possibly he is a son of the uncle Pieter, and so a cousin of Andries.3,4,5
