     Hendrick Hendrickszen Kip immigrated in 1637 to New Amsterdam as a child.⁷ He was a brewer.⁴ He lived between 1657 and 1663 at New Amstel, New Castle County, DE.⁸ He lived circa 1669 at Pollifly, NJ.^4,9
     NOTE: There are some difficulties with the timelines here. Acc. to Hubbard, Hendrick died 1670, and his widow married Francis De Bruyn. Acc. to Bergen County Familes (Kip File), Hendrick moved his family to Pollifly in 1690, and he died in 1703. But Bergen County Families (D File: Nicasius De Sille) Anna indeed married Francois (no dates) as her second husband. Bergen County Families (Brown File) has several Francois (de) Bruyn, but no mention of Anna de Sille. BCF-Kipp File does not link this couple to Hendrick Kip who married Willemkie.^10,11,1
     Kip file (DeWitt) has Hendrick Kip as a son of Hendrick Hendrickszen Kip, with a birthdate of c. 1666. Bergen Families does not have this connection, and has Hendrick Kip living in Monmouth County, where he made his will.^7,12 Name variation: Hendrick Kip Jr.⁴

On 20 April 1624 at Amsterdam. His witness was his brother-in-law Bloemert Sanders, hers her cousin Annetje Heijndricks.)² Hendrick Kip Sr. died after 19 April 1665 at Manhattan, NY, (Bergen County Families has date as 1680, maybe Hubbard's date of 1670 for Hendrik Jr. really belongs to Hendrik Sr.)^3,5
