He was bound out to service unti aged 21 to pay for his passage.)3,4 He was between 1774 and 1784 a trustee of the West New Hempstead Reformed Church (Kakiat or Brick Church, founded in 1774) in 1786, an assessor for the Hempstead section of Haverstraw Twp. and a Highway Master in 1782 and Constable in 1784.4 He appeared on the census of 1790 at Rockland County, NY. the family consisted of four males and 2 females.4 Name variation: Hendrik Jung.3
