     Austin Emerson Blodgett was born on 8 April 1851.¹ He married Clara Ellen Thomas, daughter of Thomas.

     Clarence Blodgett was born on 23 July 1913.¹ He died in April 1963 at age 49.¹
     Clarence went to grade school in West Waterford and then attended VT State School of Agriculture in Randolph, VT for two years. He came home to help on the farm. After Warren and Mel were old enough to help on the farm Clarence worked for neighboring farmers. After his marriage he worked at the Gilman Paper Mill in Gilman, VT. He died of cancer at the age of 49.¹

     Clarence Henry Blodgett was born on 14 February 1886 at Waterford, VT.¹ He married Ada Potter.¹ He married Ona A Goss, daughter of Adelbert B Goss and Ella Putman, on 11 November 1915.¹ He died on 11 February 1947 at Marshfield, VT, at age 60.¹ He and Ona A Goss were buried in the Passumpsic Cemetery in Passumpsic.¹
     On Dec 9, 1908 Carl Henry bought the farm from his parents. On 11 Feb 1947 Carl and Ona were killed in an automobile accident. Warren was chosen or volunteered to run the farm until the estate was settled. In Oct 1948 Warren and Virginia bought the farm from Clarence, Bernice and Melvin.¹ Name variation: Carl Henry Blodgett.¹

     Daniel Blodgett was born in 1631 at England.¹ He married Mary Butterfield, daughter of Benjamin Butterfield, on 13 September 1653.¹ He died on 28 June 1672.¹
     Daniel was made a freeman at Cambridge in 1652. He removed to Chelmsford.

     Ephraim Blodgett was born on 28 December 1815 at Monroe, NH.¹ He married Louisa Kidder on 24 May 1837.¹ He died on 30 September 1887 at Waterford, VT, at age 71.¹ He was buried in the Lower Waterford Cemetery.¹
     Ephraim and Louisa came from Monroe, NH to Waterford, VT. They bought the 150 acre farm from Jonathan Farr on 14 Sep 1867.

     Ephraim Alonzo Blodgett was born on 9 January 1845 at Monroe, NH.¹ He married Martha Jane Thomas, daughter of Thomas, on 28 November 1872.¹ He died on 9 March 1912 at Waterford, VT, at age 67.¹ He was buried in the Passumpsic Cemetery in Passumpsic.¹
     In 1876 Ephraim Alonzo and Martha bought the farm from Ephraim's parents. Fifty acres were added to make 200 acres.¹

     Henry Blodgett died at Suffield, CT.¹ He married Dorcas.¹ He was born on 27 June 1708 at Woburn, MA.¹

     Josiah Blodgett was born on 9 September 1755 at Stafford, CT.¹ He married Eunice Barlow.¹ He died on 22 February 1831 at Lyme, NH, at age 75.¹
