     Remus and Romulus were twins. The twins and their families are jumbled between the two Vreeland books. Needs further research. He and Sarah Nichols appeared on the census of 1860 at Paterson City (North Ward), Passaic County, NJ. Annie Vreland, Frank Vreland, Harriet Vreland and George Vreland were enumerated with them. Living wih him were Annie Vreland, Frank Vreland, Harriet Vreland and George Vreland (house 840, family 1068.)⁴ He was in 1870 a blacksmith at Paterson, Passaic, NJ.⁵ He was in 1880 an iron moulder at Paterson, Passaic, NJ.⁶ He lived in 1892 at Quincy Street, Passaic, NJ.⁷

     Reuben C Vreeland was born in 1872.¹ He married Adrienne M.² He died on 3 February 1937.² He was buried in the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Passaic.²
     He left a will on 7 April 1925 at Essex County, NJ. (#4179B W Z-11 p1.)² He lived between 1927 and 1935 at 56 Rutan Pl, Nutley, NJ.²
