IGI #2854 lists Jean MORTON christened 20 May 1787 in Bervie. She was the daughter of James MORTON and Isabel Edward. The church extract states ' Jean lawful daughter to James MORTON, Church Officer, and Isobel Edward was baptised upon Sunday May the 20th before sundry witnesses.1
