Findley H. Macdonald

     Findley H. Macdonald was born in 1825 at Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada, (Statement on oath of allegiance.) He married Agnes A McDowell. Findley H. Macdonald died in 1892.1

     Findley H. Macdonald emigrated circa 1861 from Aroostook County, ME. He was naturalized on 2 October 1872 at Millbridge, Washington County, ME.
     Findley H. MacDonald is the name engraved on his headstone in Noank Cemetery. George Hugh McDonald's Death Certificate lists him as Finley F. McDonald. The name changes form in various records and family recollections.

Robertha Holliday gives his birth date as 1825, death date as 1882, headstone provides death date of 1892.2
