     After attending Chester Academy and Lafayette College he helped on the homestead farm which was in the family for more than 175 years.

     Clara Roe was born on 14 November 1832. She married Ebenezer Bull, son of John Milton Bull and Martha Durland, on 3 January 1853. She died on 3 August 1896 at age 63.
