Information about Ellen was found on her son Thomas's death certificate, her maiden name MacAneny and the fact that she was born in Ireland. It also stated that he came to the U.S. in 1847, so that must have been the year she and her husband came with the family. The 1850 Census shows she was the mother of Ann b. 1835, James b. 1837, John b. 1839, Thomas b. 1841, Charles b. 1843, and Arthur b.1845.1 Married name: Rogers.
Information about Ellen was found on her son Thomas's death certificate, her maiden name MacAneny and the fact that she was born in Ireland. It also stated that he came to the U.S. in 1847, so that must have been the year she and her husband came with the family. The 1850 Census shows she was the mother of Ann b. 1835, James b. 1837, John b. 1839, Thomas b. 1841, Charles b. 1843, and Arthur b.1845.1 Married name: Rogers.
