Author Howard Bartholf will present a program on the history of Camp Merritt New Jersey for the Bergen County Historical Society on October 26th 2017.

The presentation will cover the period from the beginning of construction in August 1917 to the official final closing of the base in July of 1920 and the status of what was the encampment from its closing to present day.

Takes place in the Steuben House, 1209 Main St, River Edge, NJ. Free, no charge to public.
