One of the first tasks of a genealogist is to succeed in identifying the ancestral town. Ships manifests and Naturalization papers provide an excellent source for ancestral towns. Learn how to locate Immigration and Naturalization records as the primary sources for this information in this class.


Please note that advanced registration is required and classes fill up quickly—so don’t delay to reserve your seat. Classes are small-scale sessions held at the Ridgewood Public Library. Classes that do not receive sufficient advanced registration are subject to cancellation or rescheduling ! Classes last from 1.0 to 1.5 hours depending on instructor and time for Q&A needed.
