He married Elenor Hennion, daughter of Tunis Hennion and Sophia Witty, on 27 February 1819 at Pompton Reformed Church, Pompton Twp, Passaic County, NJ, (Pompton Reformed Church records). Henry Abraham Vreeland died on 20 December 1863 at Bloomingdale, Passaic County, NJ, at age 65. His estate was probated on 6 January 1864 at Passaic County, NJ, (Henry A. Vreeland, #14461, microfilm#167. County of Passaic Orphan's Court) Theunis H. Vreeland and Abraham H. Vreeland, executors.
